Glitter Effect Enhances Your Design

Glitter isn’t limit to one area. It can be applied selectively to highlight important details, create depth, or make specific elemnets stand out without overwhemling the entire design.

Glitter Effect on Hair
01

Hair & Character Details

Adding glitter to hair, fur, or clothing creates a lively sparkle while keeping the rest of the enamel surface clean. It's one of the most popular choices for anime, mascot, and cartoon pins.

Glitter Effect on Background
02

Background Elements

Large background sections are perfect for glitter finishes. Stars, skies, water, and decorative patterns become more eye-catching while leaving the main artwork easy to read.

Glitter Effect on Highlight Details
03

Highlighted Areas

Glitter can also be used only on logos, accessories, jewelry, or other focal points. Applying it to selected details naturally draws attention without covering the entire design.

How Glitter Works on Enamel Pins

⚙ HOW IT'S MADE

Production Process

01

Applied After Enamel Filling

Glitter powder is added after the enamel colors have been filled so the particles remain fully visible on the surface.

02

Protected by Epoxy

On soft enamel pins, a clear epoxy coating seals the glitter and creates a smooth, glossy finish.

03

Added After UV Printing

For UV printed pins, glitter is applied after UV printing. Otherwise the printed layer would cover the glitter.

✨ DESIGN TIPS

Recommended Combinations

✓

Match Glitter to the Base Color

Glitter usually looks more natural when its color is similar to the enamel underneath.

✓

Rainbow Glitter Is a Safe Choice

Rainbow glitter reflects multiple colors and works well with almost any enamel design.

✓

Avoid Strong Color Contrast

Highly contrasting glitter may reduce the overall appearance instead of enhancing it.

What glitter size do you use for enamel pins?

We typically use glitter particles ranging from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm. Smaller particles are less noticeable, while larger particles may cover fine details and create a rougher appearance.

You can choose from our available glitter colors, or provide your own glitter material if you have a specific requirement. We’ll produce your pins according to your specifications.

No.

To help you understand why, here’s a quick overview of the process. For both soft enamel and hard enamel pins, we first fill the enamel colors and cure them completely. The glitter is then carefully sprinkled onto the designated areas using a fine mesh screen. This order is important because applying the glitter before the enamel is cured would cause it to be covered by the enamel colors. After the glitter has been applied, we add a layer of clear epoxy resin over the surface to seal and protect it.

So you don’t need to worry about the glitter falling off.

Yes. Multiple glitter colors can be used on the same pin as long as the glittered areas are separated by metal lines.
