Frequently Asked Questions
We are here to help you 7 days a week and respond within 24 hours.
Need more information? Check out our full FAQ page here.
Do you offer pin design support?
Yes, we offer basic design assistance such as removing backgrounds, changing colors, adjusting text, and converting your artwork into a format suitable for production. However, we don’t provide original creative design services—if you need someone to create a brand-new image or logo for you, we recommend hiring a professional designer or illustrator first. Once you have your artwork, our team will be happy to help you polish it for pin production.
Do you provide enamel pin samples?
Yes! We usually send high-resolution photos and videos of your physical sample so you can review it before full production.
If you’d like to see the sample in person, we can also ship it to you—just let us know! This is a great way to confirm the quality and finish before moving forward.
How many times can I revise the artwork?
There’s no strict limit on how many times you can revise your artwork before the final approval. You can request changes as many times as needed during the proofing stage, and our reps will work with you patiently until you’re completely satisfied with the result. If you’re unsure about certain effects or details, we can help you confirm them during the sampling phase. But once the final design is approved and production has started, any further changes will likely incur additional costs such as mold adjustments or labor fees.
What special effects do you offer? Can I use more than one in a single pin?
We offer a wide range of special effects including glow-in-the-dark, glitter, pearl powder, diamond powder, transparent enamel, stained glass, quicksand, cat eye, opal, velvet texture, and more. Many stunning pins combine several of these effects to create a unique look. You’re welcome to mix and match effects to achieve your vision, though some combinations may not be technically possible. Just let your rep know what you’re aiming for, and we’ll help you figure out the best way to bring it to life.
What’s the difference between rainbow plating, dual plating, chrome plating, and dye plating? Which one is suitable for hard enamel pins?
Among these options, only chrome plating is compatible with hard enamel pins. The others—rainbow plating, dual plating, and dye plating—can only be used on soft enamel designs. Rainbow plating creates an iridescent, shifting color effect that makes every piece look unique. Dual plating allows you to use two different metal colors in one design, offering a bold and stylish contrast. Chrome plating has a bright, mirror-like silver finish that looks sleek and modern, and it works beautifully with hard enamel. Dye plating, on the other hand, gives a matte, non-metallic look using colored metals like black, white, or red, which works well for certain flat, vivid styles.
What is your minimum order quantity for enamel pins?
Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) is just 30 pieces.
However, we recommend ordering 50 pieces or more to get significantly better pricing per unit. The higher your quantity, the lower the unit cost—without compromising quality.
How long does production take?
For most standard designs, production takes around 3 to 4 weeks. Simple orders move quickly: mold making takes 3–4 days, stamping 1–2 days, coloring 1–2 weeks, plating and polishing about 1 week, and any additional effects like screen printing or UV printing may add another 1–2 weeks. For more complex designs with multiple special effects, total production time can extend to up to 1.5 months. Your sales rep will always give you an estimated timeline based on your specific design.
How is your enamel pin pricing determined?
We price each project based on your specific design and the production process involved. Since we’re a direct manufacturer, our pricing is based strictly on actual production costs—no hidden fees. If you’re working with a limited budget, let your rep know. We’re happy to offer cost-saving suggestions without compromising your overall design.
Can I request specific materials for special effects?
Yes, you can! For effects like glitter, quicksand, pearl powders, and others, you’re welcome to choose your preferred materials, and we’ll do our best to source and use exactly what you want. Just let us know during the planning phase so we can arrange it for you.
What’s the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel production? Which is faster?
Soft enamel and hard enamel pins follow different production flows. For soft enamel, the coloring is done before plating, and no extra polishing is needed—this makes it faster and more cost-effective. Hard enamel, on the other hand, requires the enamel to be filled and then polished smooth, followed by plating. Because of these extra steps, hard enamel usually takes longer to produce and may cost slightly more.
What if I don’t like the color during production—can it be changed?
If the color we used doesn’t match the color in your approved artwork, we’ll take responsibility and adjust it for free. Since all colors are hand-mixed based on Pantone guides, minor differences can happen and we’re happy to correct them. However, if you want to change the color to something different from your original artwork, that would require additional fees, as it involves reworking part of the process.
Can I track my package?
Yes, absolutely. Your dedicated rep will help you keep track of your shipment and provide the tracking number as soon as it’s available. You can use that number to check the status of your package anytime.
Do I have to pay customs duties?
If you’re located in the United States, you don’t need to worry about customs duties—we offer a duty-paid shipping service specifically for U.S. customers. The cost of duties is already included in your shipping fee, so you won’t be asked to pay anything extra when your package arrives. This service typically takes about 5–7 business days for delivery. It’s a more cost-effective option compared to handling duties on your own. And if you ever receive a customs bill by mistake, just let us know—we’ll help you get that overpaid amount refunded.
If I order back cards, how will my pins be packaged?
Unless you request otherwise, we will pack the pins and back cards separately. But if you prefer them assembled, we can absolutely help with that. Each enamel pin will be attached to its back card and then sealed together in a poly bag for protection and presentation.
Can I choose my preferred shipping method?
Yes, you can. If you have a preferred courier or shipping method, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate your choice as long as it fits your timeline and budget.
What if my enamel pins are damaged during shipping?
We take great care in our packaging—each shipment is securely wrapped with protective materials like foam to prevent scratching or breakage. That said, if something unfortunate does happen during transit and your pins arrive damaged due to shipping issues, we will take full responsibility and remake the affected items for you.
